Why use the service?

In April 2010, Ordnance Survey made many digital map datasets available for free under the OS OpenData™ initiative. This data has proved to be very popular, but the vector content still requires conversion, preparation, styling and publishing before it can be fully utilised. The viaEuropa Open service delivers high quality maps using OS OpenData™, ready for use with intranet-based web applications and desktop platforms.

Who should use the service?

The service is ideal for local authorities, partnerships, deployers of shared services and any organisation needing to deliver location intelligent applications whilst saving time, saving money and improving customer service. Use viaEuropa Plus to utilise a dedicated server reserved for your organisation. This enables the viaEuropa service to be used for commercial and high-availability applications.

What if I want to use a custom map style or add my own content?

Europa Technologies offer a bespoke service to generate maps to your own specification. We can even fuse your own content into the base maps if required. Please contact us for further information.
